CROFTON- the Corps of Discovery Welcome Center is happy to announce The Tuscan Villa & Gifts as their Featured Member Wednesday, July 4th through Sunday, July 8th. Tuscan Villa Bed & Breakfast is a delightful Italian themed Villa sitting adjacent to Cuthills Vineyard near Pierce, Nebraska.
Dane and Pam Halsey, Proprietors of Tuscan Villa have Italian theme decorated bedrooms on the upstairs level, complete with private baths & queen sized beds with “Doctors Choice” mattresses. Choice amenities include a Gift shop offering items direct from Italy, including Murano Glass, Italian street artwork, jewelry, scarves and more. Breakfast is served at your convenience with a large array of choices. No need to miss out on your work out either with treadmills, steppers, etc. available. Relax whenever you like in the 6 person hot tub or on the balcony overlooking Willow Creek Reservoir and hiking trail.
Tuscan Villa invites all to come and enjoy the amenities and other group events through out the year. Tuscan Villa is just 2.5 miles West of Pierce, Nebraska. Some other nearby attractions for your enjoyment are Cuthills Vineyards, Main Street Art Gallery, Ashfalls Fossil Beds, Pierce Golf Course, and of course Tuscan Villa’s own Pokey the Donkey.
Special items and Tuscan Villa pictures will be featured throughout the week at the center with the opportunity to sign up for a FREE NIGHT STAY at the Villa. Then on Sunday evening you will have the opportunity to meet Dane and Pam, 4-6p.m. They will be sharing more information as well as presenting a sneak peak of what more they have to offer from Italian made gifts to beautiful pictures of their Villa. Pam also specializes in assisting with home decorating by using a blend of Old Italian and new while incorporating your personal sentimental items. The drawing for a FREE NIGHT STAY will be held 6 p.m. Sunday evening.
Upcoming events at the CDWC: Gallery Exhibit during the month of July - St. Boniface 125th Anniversary Display featuring; St. Boniface Church history and memorabilia; Hall Monument will be on hand 7-9 p.m. July 4th, to share information about their services; Firework spectators can enjoy refreshments and restrooms being open late on the 4th of July; Tri-State Iron Tractor Parade will be stopping through on July 13th, 7 a.m. -9 a.m. Silent Auction opening bid will be taken for a 2 foot tall Wooden Eagle perched on a 33” native Nebraska wood base at 7 a.m. during the touring parade with final bids taken at the Amphitheatre in Yankton as well as the announcement of highest bidder during the live entertainment on the 13th. The Wooden Eagle will be on display at the center through 9a.m. July 13th, then again at the Amphitheatre in Yankton after 6 p.m. on the 13th.
