The Crofton Senior Center is introducing something new to the city. On June 16, the has planned to host a lawn and garden walk.
There are many well-kept lawns and gardens in Crofton, but for this first year, center officials chosen six of them for the tour. They thank those homeowners who have so graciously said they will open their yards to the tour.
Mode of travel on the tour is optional. Those who want to walk, will be able to do so. For the rest, cars can used. It will begin at 8:30 am on June 16 at the Center.
The walk will end at Virgie Lange’s residence on Highway 12, across the street from Steffen Service. But the tour won’t just end then. There will be a real garden party! The Lange family wanted to have one, so they are taking care of the entire luncheon.
The price for a ticket is $10, and the party goes with it.
Many advertisers helped this project by putting ads in the tour booklet those on the tour will be receiving when they buy their ticket.
