08/29/2004: "Modern Woodmen to honor local hometown hero"

Ed Hesse has spent countless hours in volunteer service to the Crofton area, and local Modern Woodmen of America members plan to take time to honor him as a hometown hero. Ed will be recognized for his many years of service to Crofton and the surrounding area.

Modern Woodmen’s local camp will pay tribute to Ed on September 16 at 6 pm at Crofton Senior Center through the fraternal financial services organization’s Hometown Heroes program. As part of this program Hesse will receive a $100 award grant, to be presented to the charitable organization of his choice.
Local Modern Woodmen members and their guests are invited to attend this event. For a reservation call Joe Janssen at 388-4772 before September 13.
